Yoga Nidra is suitable for all levels, including beginners. The class includes asanas followed by a 30 minute Yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra is a deep guided relaxation/meditation exercise that enables the practitioner to enter a state of complete relaxation induced by the guided inward rotation of the mind, the senses, and awareness along with a physical release of the body. This class is a positive way to de-stress and recharge. $10

Michelle Maha Vidya Muttart E-RYT 200, started on her yoga journey in 2003. She fell in love with it immediately, the effects it had on her body at first, but she also began to notice how it made her feel good on the inside as well. A spark lit within her and she decided to learn more; and so the path was set in motion. She decided that she wanted to share her experience with others so in 2008 she studied with Sundari Finlayson at Integral Yoga’s Satchidananda Ashram and Retreat Center at Yogaville – Buckingham, Virginia. There she completed a 200 hr. therapueutic yoga certification for Yama Therapeutics.
Shortly after her certification process her path began to pull her towards opening a studio in Radford, Va in 2008 followed by a second studio, Omkarra Yoga Christiansburg opening Oct. 1, 2010. Between the two, she taught over a 1000 classes in the first 4 years. More recently, Michelle decided that her focus will be the simplicity of yoga and not that of yoga business, opting to sell the studio. She loves yoga and continues to share her love of this ancient system for health, just through different means.
Michelle attended the Yoga Journal Conference in Colorado in 2009 deepening her studies and had the opportunity to take classes with Gary Kraftsow a leading Yoga Therapist and the world renound D.K.V. Desikachar. In 2010, she fufilled a desire to travel to the birthplace of yoga, India. She did a Chakra Sadhana course there and learned more about the energy centers of the body and was initiated into the Satyananda Yoga tradition. She was inspired even more in this trip to offer the true essence of yoga to those who wish to learn.
